Carson Chen is an Audit Partner specializing in the venture capital industry. He works with investment fund clients ranging from emerging managers to large institutional, multi-entity fund structures. His experience includes complex fund structures, including fund of funds, master-feeder structures, parallel funds, SPVs, and offshore blockers, as well as Cayman Islands audit and compliance requirements. In addition to venture capital, he has experience serving clients in the technology and nonprofit sectors.
Carson also serves on the firm’s Technical Committee, where he assists with technical accounting research, leads internal training, and supports process improvements.
Carson holds a Master of Accountancy from Case Western Reserve University. He is a licensed CPA in the state of California, a Level III candidate in the CFA Program, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is fluent in Mandarin.
