William R. Norwalk

Tax Principal

Bill Norwalk started his time as a partner of a CPA firm in 1985 as a founding partner of the firm DeMarta & Norwalk, which merged into the East Bay office of Sensiba. Over the next 30+ years, he had the privilege of working with and contributing to the success of many owner-managed companies.

Bill spent six of his years with Sensiba as the partner-in-charge of the firm’s tax group. Many of the firm’s current tax partners served in key roles during this time and have continued to enhance the firm’s offerings to provide value to the firm’s clients. The current leadership team and tax staff are some of the best in our field. They not only are skilled tax practitioners but have great communication skills.

Over the years, Bill has been very active in many non-profit organizations. He currently serves as chairman of his church’s Social Justice and Charity team and on the Board of Directors of the Dominican Foundation. He also serves on the boards of the privately-owned Fremont Bank and Nationwide Boiler, Inc.

Bill graduated from the University of Florida with a BSBA degree in accounting. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family. He is a long time racquetball player who still enjoys an early morning game with like-minded players a few days a week.
