Ireland San Filippo

  • 1977 – Steve San Filippo launches the firm, later forming San Filippo, Krause, and Baldanzi in San Carlos, CA, with partners Jerry Krause and Frank Baldanzi.
  • 1984 – The firm merges to become Ireland San Filippo
  • 1994 – John D. Sensiba joins Ireland San Filippo, bringing a new vision that would eventually help define the firm’s future.

  • 2004 – John D. Sensiba is named Managing Partner of the firm, ushering in a new era of modernization.
  • 2009 – The firm formally changes its name to Sensiba San Filippo
  • 2013 – The firm joins Morison Global, connecting our team and our clients to a human-led, international association of firms.

  • 2018 – The firm becomes the first accounting firm in California to achieve B Corp Certification, formalizing our commitment to our people, our community, and the planet.
  • 2023 – We rebrand simply as Sensiba, reflecting a modern, human-centric firm that manages global complexity with local warmth.
  • 2025 – Expansion continues, we acquire AssuranceLab and welcome a new team of experts to scale our GRC and cybersecurity presence globally.
