Kevin Shives is a consulting partner with more than 25 years of experience helping SMB and mid-market organizations optimize their people, processes and systems to gain a sustainable competitive advantage. He specializes in guiding clients through digital transformation initiatives—designing, planning and implementing back-office process improvements and fit-for-purpose technology stacks, including ERP evaluations and large-scale system implementations.
His background includes senior finance, operational and management roles across multiple high-tech companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has served as a president, controller, revenue manager, FP&A manager, internal auditor, external auditor and project manager for enterprise ERP rollouts. This hands-on leadership experience enables him to bring practical, cost-effective solutions for corporate governance, internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and process optimization.
Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant with a degree in Accounting. He is an active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, AICPA, California Society of CPAs and the Institute of Management Accountants. His professional focus includes supporting technology companies and startups in building scalable financial operations, internal controls and digital-first back-office capabilities.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, golf and travel.
