With over 20 years of experience, Partner Kevin Shives has held senior finance and management positions in various high-tech companies in the Bay Area. Kevin has significant experience providing clients with highly effective and cost-efficient corporate governance, internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) solutions, accounting systems, and process optimization solutions.

Since the SOX law was passed in 2002, Kevin has assembled and developed a team of dedicated professionals who have successfully implemented sustainable SOX solutions at companies over a broad spectrum of industries ranging in size from $25 million to several billion in revenues. Prior to being named Partner at Sensiba, Kevin has held positions as a President, Controller, Revenue Manager, FP&A Manager, external Auditor, and project manager for large-scale Oracle implementations.

As a leader in Sensiba’s technology and consulting practices, Kevin supports clients in developing process optimization solutions and implementing software solutions. Kevin works with clients to simplify their processes by using solutions like Sage Intacct, BlackLine, Limelight, and Wherefour.

Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant with a bachelor’s in accounting from San Jose State University. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, AICPA, California Society of CPAs, and Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time with family, golf, travel, and yoga.
