Minimum wage rates rise in South San Francisco in 2022. Beginning on January 1, 2022, the City of South San Francisco has announced that the minimum wage rate will increase from $15.25 to $15.55 per hour. By November of each year, the City must publish a poster announcing the minimum wage rate as adjusted for the following year. This minimum wage applies to adult and minor employees who work two or more hours per week (tips not included). Employers must post a notice in a visible place for employees to be aware of the current rate and to help them understand their rights.
